Nemesis Now Dragon Art

Fire And Ice Dragons

Fire and Ice dragons feature prominently in the figurines

There are also strange Dragon Serpents...

The Nemesis Now figurines depict two different types of dragons: some with large heads that are usually in boisterous/aggressive poses - and some with thinner heads that are usually in gentle/affectionate poses.

There is no official information about this from Nemesis Now, but these two types do seem to correspond to the classic concepts of fire and ice dragons...

Fire Dragons

Fire dragons are powerful creatures and can be very aggressive.

The dragons project a stream of deadly liquid fire that incinerates everything in its path.

Most fire dragons in the figurines are red/brown with black markings - but they can be any colour (even white).

The image above left shows Carnage - a fearsome looking fire dragon.

Ice Dragons

Ice dragons are gentle and affectionate creatures. They make good companions and bodyguards - but they will fight alongside their mistresses, if the need arises.

Ice dragons have thinner heads than fire dragons - designed to shoot precisely targeted, small ice bolts that instantly freeze their target.

Most ice dragons in the figurines are white - but they can be any colour (even red or black).

The image above right shows Jasmeena with her ice dragon companion.

Dragons Serpents

Dragon Serpents (also called Wyrms) are strange looking creatures with a long snake like body and a dragon head.

They cannot fly and cannot project fire or ice. But they make excellent guards for camps and compounds - hence the term "Guardians".

Dragon Serpents can sense the slightest vibration of the ground, so they are able to detect an approaching enemy a long way away.

They move almost silently, able to sneak up on an intruder. Once cornered, an intruder has little hope of escaping the serpents crushing embrace and savage jaws.

There are only few figurines featuring Dragon Serpents.

The figurine below is a particularly good example, showing an elf with her serpent companion. This figurine is called Guardians Embrace.
